I did some searches with the search feature and got nothing.
I was wondering if there was a how to on dropping your car with springs by yourself.
Has anyone done it? How hard is it from a scale of 1 to 10?

Thanks, know about that site, but that is a tutorial on replacing coilovers, I want to replace the exsiting springs with a shorter spring.

I have not yet done this job on the Z (but will soon) but I've done it on half a dozen other cars and it is not difficult at all. The important part is to take your time and make sure you secure the spring compressor correctly so you don't kill yourself. And DO NOT use an impact wrench on the spring compressor! You can buy a spring compressor at AutoZone/Pep Boy's, etc.
From your posts my recommendation is that you find someone who has done it before to do it for you and show you how its done, or take your car to a shop. An experienced shop should be able to swap your springs in an hour or less.
