Default A couple pics for those interested in black Volk LE37s

Granted . . . these are actually refinished TE37s, but they'll at least give you an "idea" of what they would look like. Took a few pics today after giving the Z a bath. Enjoy.

Looks terrible, I think you should sell them... I'd be shocked if anyone would give you over $100 for the set, but I'll give you $200.

Looks awesome dude, I'm very jealous. Congrats on the clean ride.

Haven't measured the drop yet - just put the Tein Basic coilovers on a couple days ago (springs still settling a bit). I have the rears as low as they will go (need to install the SPC Camber Arms and Toe Bolts I have in my garage ASAP), and the fronts I had to raise a bit b/c of rubbing issues.

that's looks cool.

Is it painted or powdercoated? What was the Original colour of your TE37? Can you take a close up picture please? Because i was thinking to do on mine as well. As it's scrubbed and i can't do anything about it on Bronze TE37.

thanks

They started off life as a set of 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 ET22 Bronze Volk TE37s. Unfortunately, I had a valet curb ALL of them and no place in the US could match the anodized bronze. SO . . . I had them sand blasted, powdercoated gloss black, had the lip cut and high speed polished, and a layer of clear coat applied.

I can snap a couple "close-ups" tonight when I get home from work.

You need to get some new stickers for them, the wheels look generic without them. Nice job...

BAH! Not a big fan of stickers . . . for a couple reasons:

1. The wait for the new gold Volk stickers is as long as the wait for the new Black LE37 wheels is.

2. I really like the all-black look (wheels, lut nuts, center caps). Stickers would detract from the look, IMO.

3. I've been told that without the stickers, my wheels look like replicas . . . . but who's to say that someone who bought replicas couldn't just buy stickers and apply them?

Yeah. don't put the stickers on. Looks much better in the stealth mode. Plus if someone thinks they're replicas they are less likely to be stolen. You know they're Volks, who care what other people who can't recognize quality think hehe.
