Default Need help my Sp1 lips are turning purple

My Black ssr sp1 lips on all 4 wheels are starting to turn purplelish blue. I dont know If its the sun doing this with all the heat or the hand car wash I go to. It looks like its stained on. I noticed it when I got back from the carwash but it never happend before and I been going there since I got the wheels. Ill post pics when I get a chance but does anyone know if this can be fixed.

you should be talking to the carwash and find out if they used wheel cleaner... and more importantly if they left *any* cleaner on there for any length of time.

WASH YOUR OWN CAR!!! ITS NOT A BIG CAR!!! YOU SHOULD LOVE YOUR CAR AND WASH IT YOURSELF!!!! :\

They probably used a wheel wax/cleaner that ate through your clearcoat and stained your wheels :\

I highly doubt its the sun cuz these things are forged at a million degrees.

I know that in some parts of the country, or if you live in apts, you cant always wash your own car. It would drive me crazy.. but nonetheless, if thats the case, you should be really careful what products you let people use on your car. Most places use products that are easiest for them, but really harsh on your car. You have one the 5-10% of cars that are easily damaged by harsh products. Besides your wheels, our paint and clear is very thin and soft. Even our glass scratches easily.
