Disable TPS
From what everyone is telling me, they said that I need to drive 30 miles and it should shut off. So far, I have been driving more than 30miles and it hasn't shut off yet. I am going to consider going to the dealer about it.
Doesn't that light annoy the heck out of you?

the thing is i had tps on my oem wheels and i put on aftermarket wheels on and i didn't put the tps on it, so the light is always on is there a fuse i can pull to just turn off the tps light permanently since i don't have tps equipped anymore?
Whenever I swap on my racing tires/rims I get the light/noise.
If you press and hold (~3 secs) the lower button on your computer controller, it will eventually go out. I don't know if this is temporary or not, as I will eventually swap my stock rims back on...

I have the same question since I recently purchased some wheels for my 05. I was looking at the service manual and noticed the TPS control module is located underneath the dash on the passenger side. There is a plug on the side of the unit and I was thinking about unplugging the device to see if that disables the TPS. Has anybody tried this? I will give it a shot tonight and see what happens.

Well guys...I am not going to be disconnecting the TPS module. I went ahead and mounted the TPS sensors on bands last night.
I still think it would be a good idea to unplug the TPS module underneath the dash and see if that eliminates the trouble codes.

If you add on aftermarket wheels and do not (or cannot) remount your TPS sensors, your warning light will come on after a LONG sustained drive. There isn't any certain number of miles. It has to do with if you sustain a steady speed for a significant amount of time. For me, it is usually longer than an hour or so. It doesn't happen with stop and go driving even for over an hour.
I have NEVER heard a "noise" I assume you mean some sort of alarm tone? I have NEVER seen the PSI code on the gauge pod. All I see (if I press the button on the pod) is "-- --" where it used to tell me the psi of my tires.
The 30 mile quote wasn't for the light to turn OFF but it was at one time believed (and still is by some people) that after 30 miles of driving, the light will go ON if you don't have the TPS remounted.

My mistake - I was talking about the noise and indicator in the "info pod" that comes with low air pressure.
I realized (too late) that you've been discussing the symbol in the speedometer area that looks like the cross-section of a flat tire. Sorry for any confusion.

I was just reading the service manual for the 2005 Z's and I noticed the TPS setup is different from the 03 and 04 models. The signals from the TPS sensors, in the wheels, go to the Keyless Entry Module. From the Keyless Entry Module the signal is transferred to the BCM, Body Control Module. So much for just unplugging the TPS module that is found on the earlier models. I am going to research this some more to see if there is a possible workaround.
