I've also had my wheels damaged upon delivery. It's imparative that you
OPEN THE PACKAGE AND INSPECT YOUR PRODUCT IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER. That's the only way UPS will accept fault and pay to make you whole. DON'T LET THE DRIVER LEAVE UNTIL YOU OPEN AND INSPECT YOUR ITEMS[U]

Believe I've been there. Good Luck!

that sucks, you should file a claim. did the shipper have insurance on it? no offense to ferret, but most ups employees just throw stuff around w/o really paying attention to what could be in there, especially by the end of the day... i'm sure they get tired, it's only natural.

Ohh yea, on my shift we have part time employees working over 10 hours.
WE are just processing an enormous amount of volume and its still growing.
THe UPS loader job was designed for 3-4 hours of work max. Not 8-10

Well the drivers cannot just leave the box if the shipper marked that the driver MUST obtain signature. When shipping big ticket items, I would pay the premium for the next day air.

Just recently I bought $4000 work of camera equipment from B&H in new york and had them send it next day air cost me $100but not only does it get here the next day, but it HAS TO be delivered by 10:30 am otherwise your money back. So thier is no waiting for the UPS guy. Also other UPS services have to be delevierd by certain times.

Discount tire has it down to a science. I had a sock around the rim itself along with foam on both sides. Rims arrived in perfect shape.
