Just doing a quick survey. Anyone here told that their volks will be here in August? I'm curious b/c mine are suppossed to be here soon.

There are two containers this month--apparently one today or tomroow, and another near the end of the month.

If they don't come in on the August 3 shipment, they should be here on the Aug 17 one. Hopefully they're here now

 

Ok now I'm f'n pissed. My vendor called me (who is great btw) and basically Mackin is giving him the run around. I just don't get it...how freaking hard is it to get two rear rims for me?

He told me I could call mackin, and I'm just about to. Apparently they have no idea where they are, and I'm guess they aren't in the US. What would you guys do? I'm so close to raising hell over there its not even funny.

Let me know. From the vendor side he is doing all he can and I'm not going to say anything but as far as mackin goes I need to know where the hell my wheels are.

This is where your wheels are along with our GGames.

Remember, Mackin is only the US distrubutor. They can do nothing to speed up the process. They have to rely on RAYS Foundry and then a shipping company to get them here in a timely manner. And then there's Customs, they can tie the wheels up for up to 30 days.

I know the feeling of waiting, we've been waiting on the new GGames wheel for 2 months now. Nothing we or Mackin can do about it.

 

Where did ya get that tracking map? What is it's destination, east coast or west coast? I got some volks on order too and I was told it would be here by the end of this month.

 

Sorry, I was being a little sarcastic. It's just a picture of the Pacific Ocean. I don't know what the line is for.

My best guess that the wheels are in or nearing the Port of LA, where they will surely be held up by customs.

 

And do think...some of us thought you were providing us with legitimate info!

 

Seriously. I appreciate the response. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Can I ask for a discount? I know things happen when there are special orders...but I mean come on! They have only recieved my front two rims. Who the hell orders an incomplete set of rims?

I want to call, but I feel like if I do I'm wasting my breath. I was told I can get pretty much any other volk or RH wheel in a matter of two days but the look I want is only made with the SF Winnings. Anyone have a pair of 19x10.5" +17 sf winnings in mercury silver they will sell me? I'll take them RIGHT NOW.

How long was your total wait time?

 

we wait for the RH CPF-Tune for almost 5 months. There is nothing you can do to speed up beside trying to "forget" that you order the wheel.

 

F volk, and all their ********. I'm going to end up cancelling my order--I can't believe the way they are treating me. I'm a very passive guy, but this is the last straw.

The new setup will be insane...I promise

welcome to the world of special orders - this is why Volks are quotes as a wait time of 30-120 days. There is no way for them to know what is actually in the container till it is landed and in front of them. A good vendor will tell you these timetables up front. Remember too that a landed container does not equal a received shipment - I hvae customs doing a physical inspection on one of our containers now for the past 30 days, and they are taking their sweet time.

 

i've been waiting for just over 5 months for 18" le-37. 2 are suposedly in now. i don't belive anything they tell me anymore.

 

I must have been lucky...I got my SF-Winnings in two weeks last fall...
