Default Need a recomendation on Tires

I am currently running:
Toyo T1-s 245/35/19 front
Toyo T1-s 275/35/19 Rear

I don't track but I like to take corners pretty fast but I really need a tire that is more for street use than anything else. I have been having a tough time trying to find these online. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

i have bfgoodrich kdw2's and i love them, they are about the same price as the T1-s i believe, maybe a bit cheaper, but i love them waaay more than the T1-S. I hated the T1-S and will never buy them again, but thats just with my experience.

I would upgrade to a set of 255/285 BFG KDW-2 if I were you as that is what I plan on doing when my Dunlop SP9000s wear out.

isn't the bigger the tire, the harder for "cornering"?

Nitto NT555. Ive had them on for 17,000 miles and they are wearing very well. Ill probably get another 17,000 miles out of them. I have been very pleased with the amount of grip they provide also. No feathering either which is a plus.

michelin PS2's are pretty nice, not cheap though...

theyre probably the best well rounded street tire and cornering ability out there without going into something where you really start losing we traction

Excellent wet & dry traction with little tire noise. So far no feathering...

PS2's

Outstanding dry traction...Incredible wet traction.
Plus they seem to run about 4-5 lbs. lighter then other same size tires.

I second that! S03s break away is really progressive (as long as your driving is smooth) and won't wake up the entire neighborhood when they break traction. The only downside is they seem to wear much faster than other brands like Michelin Pilot Sports and Kumho Ecsta.

both are good. If you want the look also, then go with BFG. BTW, don't buy your tire at discount tire direct (the vendor here). Check out other place. Better in price and more honest sales people.

I have the Michelin Pilot Sports. 275/40/18 on the rear and just ordered another pair. I wore out the first set in 13 months! Damn it gets expensive to replace them yearly at $700 a pop.

I'm not sure what the treadwear rating is on the BFGs, but the Michelin PS A/S tires have a Treadwear rating of 400... It's a pretty hard tire. So far, after 9K miles, I've had no (front) tire roar, and the rears still look pretty good. I just cross rotated the fronts, and expect to get at least another 10K out of them. I doubt I'll get that out of the rears though...

I think I remember the stock Potenzas had a rating of 140, which wore out in no time... They were just like pencil erasers...

Default For the past 3,000 miles...

I've been running Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Considerable improvement over the OEM tires. I’d buy then again.
