Default Lowering Z eliminates feathering?

i've tried to search through all of the feathering posts and have read different things, i am looking to purchase an 03 and was wondering if i lowered the car with a set of say eibach springs, would that correct the feathering problems the Z experiences? Is there anything that could be done to correct this problem? aftermarket or not? Bc im thinking about the Z but don't want all these headaches

I didn't have feathering until I got my Nismo S-tune suspension and they realigned it to the new, "corrected" alignment specs after the install, and two weeks after the install.

If anything, lowering your car will futher throw off your camber and make feathering worse

i did a SPC rear camber kit and coilovers and i havent had any problems, comming from a suspension that gave pretty serious feathering.

Generally lowering the car throws off the camber which results in inside tire wear. Usually having the wrong toe angles produces the feathering.

The key to success is getting a good alignment done and having the cambers set correctly - front and rear. Find yourself someone who understands suspensions and front ends and you shouldnt have a problem.

I have just had a Eibach Pro kit installed and there is plenty of adjustability in the stock set up; however should you wish to lower the car more than an inch or so you will more than likely run out of adjustability and therefore will require camber kits etc.

Also remember that an alignment can be thrown out very quickly by hitting a large pot hole or similar. My Z is only 7 months old, has no sign of feathering but the alignment front and rear was out by the proverbial mile!

Hope this helps.
