Default Does anyone lower the Z?

Of all the pics I've seen on this site, it doesn't appear that many of the cars have been lowered. Yet the wheel gap is minimal....

Most pics I see around here are lowered. The wheel gap on the stock suspsension is noticable.

I personally have the Eibach Pro-kit springs. Check the link in my sig to see hwo they look with 19s.

Most Z's with larger wheels are lowered. My wheels and tire combo are about 1" in diameter larger than stock. That would make my car's riding height 1/2" higher. I have the Eibach prokit and it drops about an inch.

That first pic is hot Monkey, very nice. 20s look great on the Z. I've been thinking of getting some myself; not sure about the performance hit though. Have you noticed a big difference in acceleration? How do the springs ride? Did you replace the shocks or get a camber kit or anything like that?

I know that I take a hit on performance, but since I have a Procharger, I have plenty of power to spare, for me, anyways. The springs ride very nice. There is no bounce. I kept the stock shocks/struts and I had to get a rear camber kit. I got the SPC kit for $219 off of Ebay.

Pro Kit, I can't imagine how the sportline would be, it is already close as it is.

They are the 278 Ruff Racing wheels in Hyperblack you can see how they look in the bright light there, here is a pic in cloudy skies and you can see how different they look

I really like those rims. Where did you get them from? I searched a few sites but they were really crappy and wanted you to call for pricing and stuff.

Contact Scott Kietzmann at scott@statuswheels.com and he will let you know of a dealer near you, he is the GM for Status Wheels the maker of Ruff wheels and a member of our club down here he will help you.

Also thos are 20 offset, I have seen where some guys get 35 but 20 is what Scott designed them with for the Z.
