Well, not with any wheel/tire combo that you would put on the Z.

The BFG KDW can go 295/45/20 on a 20x9.5" rim but you'd never run that on the Z unless you're a moron.


You could do 285 on a 9.5" though. 285/40/18 or 285/35/19

Every tire mfg posts specs on their web site.
Look up Toyo tires for example and see what rim they require for each tire size and style.
Usually there is a range of wheel widths for each tire.

im looking at drag radials, bfg recomends a 10in rim for their 295s. I think im going to have to go with a set of 265/40/18s instead. What do you think?

Thats what I have, they work fine. I pulled a 1.77 60ft last night.

Ok thank you barthelb, that gives me hope as I pulled consistent 2.4-2.6 last night on my all-season tires. I know I need to learn how to drive, but better times lie ahead with better tires.

I ran mine at 15 psi at the track.
