Default Nismo 18" Wheels on a Touring Z

Anyone running the Nismo 18" wheels 8.5" up front and 9.5" in the rear on a 6 Speed Touring Z with the VDC? Does it work okay? Any problems? Also, did you move the tire pressure sensors to the new wheels?

Many Thanks

I'm running them on a G35 6MT Coupe. 245/40 and 275/40 Dunlop SP9000. No Issues.

I have 245/45R18 in front now, can it go with 275/40R18 as recommended by Nismo?

Nissan recommends 245/40/18 on the front wheels. I would think that the recommended rear size (275/40/18) would work with 245/45/18s on the front. 275/45/18s would maintain the proper stagger as well if they are available.

I have them on a Performance Model with the recommneded sizes 245/40/18 - 275/40/18 and the VDC works as advertized most of the time but every once in a while the VDC will act up and not work exactly the way it use too. Which is not necessarialy a bad thing as power slides are sometime fun when on accident. However, I have recently installed the complete S-Tune suspension (shocks, springs & Swaybars) and in the instructions from NISMO it said for the VDC to work properly you must have the NISMO Wheels (proper tire sizes) along with the entire NISMO S-Tune suspension. It had a chart that showed what NISMO products needed to be grouped together for which traction control system on the Z. I am looking forward to see if this makes a difference. It was actually pretty cool that it addressed that Hope this helps. I love my LMGT4's!

Z ya!

I'm running 245/40/18, 275/40/18 Goodyear F1 GS-D3 all around.
No VDC issue at all.

I am running them . . . but the first thing I do when I get in my car is switch-off the VDC. I have taken a few laps on the track with it on by mistake and there were no issues
