20" rims in back and 19" rims in front opinions/pics??
i'm going to be ordering rims here in the next couple days
but i'm torn on wether i want 19's in front and 20's in the rear or just 20's all the way around.
was wondering if anyone had any pictures or opinions?
Thanks

lordy, this has been talked about several times over the past year or two. I have chimed in on a couple of the discussions saying that I thought it would be a great idea. I think it would look cool. unfortunately this did not dawn on me untill i had already bought my aftermarkets.
I say go ahead and do it. thats where this topic has fallen short in the past. to my knowledge nobody has actually gone through and done it.
hell the latest corvette is that way. i think its 18's in front and 19's in rear.
do it!!!!!!

heck i might do the 19 front 20 rear next year. hopefully by then there will be others out there. i got a whack offset on my current rims and have had to adjust with spacers. my 19's from the rear now would fit nice on the front and then get 20's for the rear and sell my fronts i have now on ebay.
i would think the only drawback is you are narrowing yourself probably with the choices that you would have for the rubber to go on the rims(might have to pay more cause of a smaller selection). i know with searching for 19's it was hard finding a good tire with the right stagger. i can only imagine what the pain will be for trying to match 19's and 20's taking into accoount the right width, and sidewall to maintain the stagger to keep the car happy.
good luck.

Doesnt the '06 have 18s front 19s back? If Nissan does that out the factory, it must have its benefits aside from looks... but then again that maybe to much faith in a car manufacturer
Besides the point, I suggest trying it, I've seen a few body kits that make the rear tire look smaller than it really is (19s), as if the rear were either 18s and/or was never dropped.
Take the chance, it wouldn't hurt (much)!

My opinion, staggered setups only look good on elongated low profile cars (NSX, Corvette, Trucks, etc). The Z is just too short of a car for a different sized setup such as this. I've seen it and wasn't too fond of it, however if it is what you like then by all means, go for it.
