Default Powder Coating Wheels

Just got me some Volk GT-V's for my PPW in mercury silver. My intentions were to buy gold rims, but didnt want to wait a couple months for the GT-V's to come with a custom gold paint job. I am looking to powder coat them to a similar color as the gold on the Volk GT-C's... Anyone know of a good shop in or near Orlando who can do that for me? Thanks in advance.

When powder coating, will they be able to keep the middle part (where the lug nuts and stuff are) of the rim chrome.. and the rest gold, like the picture?

yes they will. I would volunteer my services, but unless you have a 3 piece wheel with removable centers, 17" is my oven's limit, for the time being. I am working on upgrading that, however!

$300 is a great price. Wheel Wizard here in atlanta charged my friend $650, and no masking off was involved, but that included mount and balance also.

So, when powder coating the rims, should I just take the soon to be painted piece off? and give it to them? or they will be able to do it? The wheels are Volk GT-V, so its a two piece rim...

I don't know the volk diamond black off the top of my head right now, but seeing how my main employer is bankrupt (delta air) and I took a 33% paycut last year, they are asking for 20% more now, I am going to have to step up my powdercoating business real quick! I am currently looking at options for a bigger oven. should have something down real soon.

bring them in as they are, and tell them what you want. Its their job to do the rest.
