The easist explanation would be that the LE is like the TE, but has a diamond cut (similar to polished) lip. The LE is also available in more colors. Oh, the Center caps are different as well....

Basically thats what the LEs are. The diamond cut isnt a painting process, its a process where they use industrial diamonds to cut the lip to a shiny finish and then they are clear coated.

You can order LE37t in Spark silver but not Mercury Silver.

Those are GREAT rims but I would say they are equally as desirable as the LMGT4, basically the 5 spoke version of the LE37.

with an 18x 10 in the rear, would I have any rubbing problems when lowered?

I ran 19x10.5 on my rears with a +22 offset. I also put on bridgestone S03's, and had rubbing problems after I put on the HKS coilovers (Thanks Wil) =). So I had to roll the fenders, but no more problems now.
