Default need help (pics)

Hey what up guys I took my car to a wheel shop because my volks valve stem was leaking. Well anyways they fixed the problem but in the process they lost one of my RAYS valve stem caps so they replaced it with a regular one. I didnt notice till the following day and when I went back they played it off like they knew nothing.

Was wondering where I can get another set. It isnt noticeable but it bugs me.

the original is the one on the left and they replaced it with the one on the right. I now have three RAYS and one generic. I know it's no that big of a deal but its bugging me.

visit or call local wheel shops that sells rays. Maybe they have an extra one laying around. Actually, contact the store where you got your wheels from, see if they have one.

One of my rays valve stems is leaking too.... how much did that run to get fixed?

the valve stem cap stops the leak when screwed on tightly... but it will leak when i take the cap off... I was hoping to not have to buy another valve stem.

Send a note to Ray's engineering. Top notch companies take customer service seriously.

If the cap stops the leak, all you should have to do is tighten or maybe replace the valve stem core. There is a small tool for the core that you can tighten it with or unscrew it altogether and replace it with a new one. Only reason you should have to have a shop work on it is if the valve stem is leaking from around the base. I learned long ago to take my matching caps off before going to a wheel shop, as they always seem to lose them and put on whatever is lying around.

Don't have a pic of one, but you can get it at any auto parts store. Usually comes in the pack with a set of new valve stem cores; it's just a tiny little thing with a recessed slot to screw and unscrew the core in the valve stem.

If you unscrew the stem and replace it, put a jack under that corner to keep the full weight of the car from sitting on the tire as all the air rushes out.

We can special order the Rays caps, however the only way you can get the valve stem caps from Rays is to order the entire valve stem. The caps are not available on their own.

Did you ever get a replacement? Damn tire shops. I always remove my caps before letting them work on my tires.
