If you really love those wheels so much, paint your car. It's not worth it to trade it in, you'll lose $3-4k, might as well use those money for a custom paint job. Personally, I think blue goes well with gold wheel. (I love the STi color/wheel combo)

Get those wheels in Gunmetal. Don't paint your car! You will love it when it's paint matched with a chrome lip around the rim. Just my opinion though.

This last few weeks my car started getting rattle happy and its driving me crazy. I count 3 different rattles! So I'm gonna trade it in for an 06 PPW Track or touring, but none seem to exist in CA.

Those wheels specifically look good, but imo not in gold. Paint them black or gunmetal or even silver

Still think the gold on silver can look good if the gold doesn't pop too much:

Yeah I agree that there are more "natural' color combos out there but the gold on silver will definitely make you stand out. Perhaps it's more bronze on silver though since it's more subdued. I was thinking of doing that for my track wheels for a while, but the wheel I ended up getting didn't come in bronze

thats alot of money to blow just to match your rims, when in about a year or two you will change your mind and get diffrent rims anyway. Just trade your car in for the color you want or rock the gold rims on a silver car its not that hard to make a choice? you thought so hard about these rims you shoud have thought that hard about buying your car and what you were going to do with it.

Here's a new-ish pic of gold LE's on a Silver G. I still like the combo since it's not too common.

No problem. I'm still here in the Bay Area. Wife and I are still waiting for our 2nd daughter's delivery. She's due on the 27th, but my wife is hoping she'll come early. I've been commuting back and forth between the Bay and Vancouver but am working from home now till we move. We'll probalby move the end of Jan. The food in Vancouver is awesome though. I was there for 2 weeks on my last stint and had Pho no less than 5 times. Also found a place that has decent Bun Bo Hue. There is an area outside of Vancouver called Richmond where the population is 51% asian so there is plenty to choose from. Anyway, I'm trying to get my corporate housing sorted and have started looking for a home in North Vancouver. Cool part is a board member referred me to a performance shop that is in N. Van so if they work out I'll be able to get my car serviced locally

the 27th! Man, you must be excited. Congrats and post pics of new baby if you can. Sounds like Vancouver is the nich for you. I didn't realized there's such a huge asian population there. Your wife will feel right at home then.
