Default crazy wheel/Z combo *pic*

I have a CS Z, I'm buying gold GT-C from Rick at Status Auto Design(excellent service). I'm thinking that this combo is gonna be ugly so I requested for a photoshop. Need_Z (thanks Need_Z) came up with this.........

My intial response is but I like the rims so I might paint the Z to PPW or black. Should I keep it or paint job. I like the GT-C gold combo so i'm not changing wheels, besides, Rick would kill me!

Keep the paint, it would decrease the value to paint it another color.
I like the style rims but don't think the silver matches the gold.

certainly attention grabbing... I dunno... you could set a trend, or be laughed at. Ive never been a fan of GOLD wheels... you sure you dont want to try bronze? Also, don't repaint your car to match your wheels... you will definitely decrease the value.

I don't plan on selling the car so devalue is not a big concern, I just really like the wheels but I hate silver cars!

Because at the time, that sliver Z was the only one that has the options I wanted in my price range. And this was before I knew anything about volks, and when I saw the gold GT-C i feel in love.

well if you feel that strongly, just paint it. everyone knows the factory paint is cheap anyway. spend some good money, and get one of those "miles deep" paint jobs.

Isn't there anyway for you to trade in the car? maybe for another well-kept used one? Get a newer model?

I'm sure there is an alternative that will counter the high costs of a quality paint-job. You won't have any headaches. Regardless of what color you paint it, the inside of the engine bay will still be silver unless you're willing to pay top-dollar for a complete paintjob. Might as well go with a custom and rare paintjob.

Wow...You've considered to repaint your car to match the wheels?

You must really love those wheels...

see what the wheels actually look like on the car...it might grow on you...and you could maybe add some accents to the car in gold to make a nice color scheme...it might be really good

Yes, I do. I'm afraid to trade in my car cause I don't want to deal with the hassel of a use car, did the owner take care of the car, pumping 91octane, using sytenic oil, etc.....do I have to worry about the tranny problem again...and all that stuff. But I also don't want a 05 cause I don't like the led tail lights, lose value on the trade in, and it seems that the 03 handle better than the 05.

Anyone here want to trade car?

Here's an up close shot of the rim that Rick provided. I'm telling you, it looks hot!!!
