is it safe to have stock size of 235/50/17 in the rears w/ 30k on them and new 225/45/17 in the fronts?

i ask because my fronts are bald on the inside so i must change just the front, but that back has a good 15k of thread left so it doesnt need to be changed.

and now the tires i want only come in 225/45/17 (falken azenis st115)

will it screw up my tracking/speed/ drivablity/etc...? thanks

 

you could... just run with VDC off...

or there is a trick...

turn the car to the ON position.. not with the motor running just on...

roll the car back 15 feet, roll the car forward 15 feet...

this should re-calibrate your VDC system...
