Need opinions or pics if any of you guys can share. I was thinking the double sixes in chrome or finding a nice set of gunmetal rims with a fat silver lip.

 

black on black!! Gunmetal and black... kinda over done already.

IMO, silver, gold, black look good on DB... I had originally gone with gunmetal and the contrast just wasn't right, but those other colors offer a very nice contrast!!! anything but gunmetal... IMO of course.

 

i love the black or gold wheels with the daytona blue....if I could get gold emblems and door handles I would get gold volks in a heart beat....

 

It depends on whether you like contrast or not. Personally, I'm going for silver. Black and gunmetal don't stand out enough against the blue.

hmm never seen gold wheels on a DB. I'd love to see a pic of that if anyonwe has one. I love the Chapagne Double Sixes and if they looked good on a DB I'd buy those in a heartbeat.

 

black offers a great contrast with the blue, it is the gunmetal that doesn't!

oh and you can easily get your emblems gold, and paint your doorhandles gold if you wanted... wouldn't be very expensive (except the wheels of course)

How many different sets of wheels have you gone through? And yes Diamond Black Volks look sweet with DB....

My favorite are the Diamond Black SF Challenges on a Daytona Blue Z.....i can't find the pic but will post it once I do....

 

Cat, SWEET Z!!!!! and as you stated, yes you can have your emblems and door handles done in any color check mine out...



even had my old OEM wheels done, (but i have on my ADRs right now and switchin rims soon!)

 

Cat's Z is focking sweet, but I have to say gunmetal works the best.

Even though I'm from UCLA, I still couldn't pull off having gold rims on a blue car.

It's a very unique look.

i would also say silver, black with chrome lip or complete chrome rims.

i was think´n about the gold for my db z but i deciede to put the volk racing
gt-c in mercury on it.
maybe you should look at the "discussion gallery" forum there is a thread:
DB vs. Silverstone. maybe this could make you choice a little bit easier.
