Cool S-03s went on today (pics)

First, the sizes.

225/45/18 (stock) in the front and 255/45/18 (plus zero) in the rear. I plus sized to the 255 in the 45 profile instead of 40 because the difference in diameter from stock 26.7" was .7" for the 40 vs. .3" for the 45.

I have barely put 10 miles on them to get home so I can't really give any impressions other than the fact that those goddamn ROARING front tires are gone.

A definitive example of feathering on the 225/45/18 front tires.

255/45/18 S-03 vs. a well-worn 245/45/18 RE040.

A half-*** shot of the rear 255/45/18 in the middle of a detail session.

I don't know if you know this, but your tires (inside) are cupping, you might want to have your alignment looked at.

As would be indicated by his saying "A definitive example of feathering on the 225/45/18 front tires."

I never had the problem,. but got an alignment when I got new wheels, and they were out of spec. Its a good $60 to spend for preventive maintenance.

btw, the shop said they have had two supercharged frontiers sent from the dealer that had steel cord showing at 1000 miles from bad factory alignments!
