Default Should I buy them? SSR GT3's used

I found a set of barely used SSR GT3's

Tires- Yokahoma AVS Sport with 300-400 miles

Front 19X8.5
245/35

Rear 19X10
275X30

The guy will take $3200

Is this a pretty good deal? Any feedback on the tires?

These rims are my top choice. I was considering the 18's, which would run me around the same price new....

Hmm... if the offsets are right and they are what you want, go for it! In fact, if the offsets are right, tell me how to get in touch with the guy! These are the very wheels I think I'm going to buy anyway.

The offsets are correct. They were actually mounted on a 350z briefly to see how it looked. I will pass the owners info to you, if I decide not to purchase.

My ideal setup would be a gunmetal center on the GT3 . Similar to the Brembo car.

Anyone have experience with powdercoating rims? Can I get a "good job" done aftermarket? What should it run me? Any reccomendations in Atlanta?

is the set for sale brushed aluminum finish?

And are they in Atlanta? If you decide not to get them, I have a friend who could potentially pick them up for me. (I live in Charlotte, NC)

Thumbs down

No...I currently purchased them brand new with S-03's for $3400. What are the offset numbers.... Reguardless...I would try to get him to come down to about 27-28. Otherwise you might as well by new.

They do look good though.

Oh yeah...If you're going with 19's, 30's are way too thin on the rear. I suggest you go 35. I did...so did everyone else who's gotten 19's. If not the set-up will look funny.

Thanks for the Info Jreed.

BTW your car looks SWEEET with the GT3's

I am going to make an offer @ 2800. I have decided that is what they are worth to me.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

The SSR GT3's w/ S03's are my first choice too. Damned, isn't there a group buy going on somewhere for these things???

Jrreed, dude, you've got to post more pics of the wheels on your 350z... those things are hella sweet!!!

MastakillaZ

Do a search ...use SSR GT3 and look for JReeds name. I've posted many pics already.

Zspot you're welcome. Isn't it great to have a board where you can get so much info and people are so helpful.

By the way, the AVS Sports are a very good tire. Lots of grip in the dry and still very good in the wet. However, they wear out quicker than the S03s do, although the S03s wear extremely well for a very high performance tire.

Also, it's worth mentioning they don't make a 275/35/19. The closest tire (size-wize) is a 295/35/19.

Yes... what offset? and can we get a group buy rolling for this? These are the same rims that I think I'm going to go with? I'll start a new thread to see how many takers we have...
