Default what are you lowering your z with

I currently have volk te7's 19x8.5 and 19x10.5 with 245 in the front and 275/35 in the rear, but will be running 285/35. What springs would you lower with. Keep in mind that I would be getting my rear fender rolled. should i lower and then roll or roll and then lower or simultaneously??/?

I have Volk GT-V's, in 19x9.5 F and 19x10.5 R, and I lowered my Z with the Hotchkis springs. They provide a slight drop, I believe it's 3/4" in the rear, and 9/16" in the front. I believe 19's with the 245/45 and 275/45 setup are about 3/4" taller than the stock track setup I had, so with the drop, the bottom of the car should be about stock height, but with a little less wheel gap. One reason I went with these springs is that they are engineered to work with the stock struts.

For you, I think you should decide what you are looking for. Do you want your car totally slammed, or just to eliminate a little wheel gap? Are you planning to use the stock struts or replace them? What kind of ride are you looking for?

As far as the fender rolling, I don't think it would be necessary with the Hotchkis springs, but with a bigger drop, it may be. I'd lower first, and then if it rubs, get the fenders rolled. You may find that you don't need to roll them with the springs you buy, which is why I'd say to wait until after it's lowered. I hope this helps.

Tein S-Techs are very nice springs. I, personally, hate Coilovers. I think they make the ride very bouncy. The S-Techs will lower the car a little more an inch (with a higher weight spring) I think the car rides better than stock and corners a lot better due to stiffer springs. Also on 19's with those tires your wheels will be dead even with the wheel wells which I love looks wise. I hate when the tire is tucked. Team that up with shocks and sway bars and your car will be a monster on the track.
That's just my $.02.

Edit: The Teins work no problem with stock struts as well.

I've tried searches and they really aren't that helpful. People had said with the TE37's and runnign 285/35 in rear I will have to roll the fenders regardless. Theres only abotu an inch maybe a little more of fender gap, which set of springs would have the best drop and I'm pretty suer it will be tucked after the fender roll. I've had springs to sag on me after a while, so I just want to see which one would be the most durable. Rsr ti-springs? Tein S-techs? Hotchkis? Eibach?

The best method is to cut your springs until your car is at the desired height. My car is slammed, the only thing is, im not sure why the ride is so rough

The s-tech in the pictures doesn't look like much of a drop. I'm seriously considering the TVS kit, anyone have pictures of the TVS kit installed with springs, I want to see the drop to dry and elminate the fender gap. I only have about 1/2 inch up front and 3/4 inch in the rear, but thats with the 275, i just go tthe 285 tires in today, so I'm about to install the tires. I don't know if I should wait until i get the springs to install the tire to know just how much fender rolling i will need. People with the TE's have said that with 285/35 in the rear, rolling the fender is a must with or without a drop, is this true? What do you guys recommend?

I have the Hotchkis kit as well, probably most bang for your buck as it's dirt cheap compared to anything else out there.
