Default SSR GT2 suggestions requested

I'm looking at picking these suckers up, and I'm thinking 18x8.5 front and 18x10.5 rear. Or should I do 9.5 rear instead? I'm wondering if the extra 2" might be a little overkill.

I don't need super wide in front though, I wanted to stick with the 8.5s in front for weight purposes.

225 is too small for a 8.5 and thats a hell of a stagger id do 9.5 front 10.5 rear

I didn't think the stagger would be that bad if I matched the tire sizes more closely.....235/45fr with 275/40r

If you do 8.5 fronts, I'd do 245. Personally, I wouldn't go wider than 8.5 unless you do some type of auto-cross/road racing. It is just more tire the car has to push.

I have 8.5 front and 9.5 rear.

With 8.5, I agree you need at least 245. I have 255 front so the overall diameter would be exactly the same as stock. For a whort while I had the stock 225 tires on the 8.5 rims, and it looked terrible. The tires were being stretched so bad that the rim would stick out further than the tire.

If you go 10.5 in the rear, you will have a similar problem since you would probably have to go with 295 (which may rub the fenders) so they won't be stretched.

9.5 in the rear is perfect for 275 tires (which then also keeps the exact same diameter as the stock tires).

I think they only come in 8.5", 9" or 10.5" widths...I might just go with 9"
