Hey guys I'm getting 10.5 +23mm (with 10.9 cm lip) in the rear (lowered with JIC), i want to go with 285 since 275 is strecthing the tire and the lip is unprotected. Would 285 fit without rolling the fenders?

Another option would be +29 in the rear but wiht less lip (9.6cm)

btw i'm getting Work S1

So would a 19x10.5" with a +35 offset look sunken in or would it look flush? Worst case would I need a 5mm spacer or something like that?

Will look too sunken in imo. Look at the pics link in my signature, I have 10.5" rears sitting flush with a +22 offset....

as long as you do not have a camber kit to correct negitive camber you will be fine with 285...

as long as the spacer is Hubcentric it is safe to use...

Hubcentric spacers start with Eibach at 10mm and 15mm and up with H&R

What do you think of using the Eibach 10mm spacer (which ive priced out already and a very nice deal) with the Axis Hiro 10.5 +35 w/ a 285 tire?

Thanks Jason. So you mean 285/35/19 on 10.5 with +23mm will run fine without rolling the fenders?

I highly doubt it seeing as my 285/35 on a 10.5" rubbed bad, and also lowered on JIC's. I had to roll the fenders.

I have 295 on 10.5 +30

If you roll your fender there will be plenty of room...
+1 on this setup in the rear. Even lowered 3/4" and putting camber back to -1.5 still enough room with 295's.

so i guess 275 would be a better choice if no fender rolling rite?
is there a significant difference in terms of ride quality between 275/35 and 285/35?
Jic coils is stiff enough...

what offset wheels do you have?

Like I said, i personally do not like the 285/35/19 tire on the back of the Z... its way to big, even 275/35/19 is to big for me... not width obviously but diameter..

285/35/18 isnt a problem...

If you do a 10.5 +30 offset it wont rub... much lower you get close... also with a tire with a tall sidewall like that you have to worry more about sidewall flex...

He was asking if a +23 offset with a 285/35 lowered would rub, the answer is yes. I had the same set-up but +22, and it rubbed noticably, so I highly doubt 1mm more clearance would keep him from rubbing.
