Yes, TPMs will fit SOME aftermarket wheels. On some you can mount them like the factory wheels, on some others, you need to do them with bands, on others they just won't fit.

It really doesn't matter to me if the TPS system is in use or not. If I choose not to installed the sensors on aftermarket wheels, can I disable the system so that the light does not come on? Such as removing the fuse or something?
I haven't been able to find a post that appears to have a surefire method for disabling it. Pulling the fuse has been suggested but other have warned that it might disable functions (ABS) that you need.

but you do not need to use any...
if the pressure sensors are kept away from your Z, then when you drive your car for 40 mins or more, then a small light turns on... it goes away next time you turn off the car...
