I thought we had to use spacers up front with these wheels?

some peole say the 17x9 + 15 is perfect and will fit without rubbing...

some other people say the above combo is too aggressive and reccomend the 17x9 + 35 with a 10mm spacer...

right now I'm on 18x8.5 + 23mm and it looked like this on a stock height car... you do the math

with some load on suspension

Mmmh…

The thing is, I’m more concerned with the position of the contact patch relative to the steering axis. I don’t want to screw the scrub radius to much, while still maintaining wheel and tire clearance to every thing.

I’m assuming a wider wheel, combined with camber, will have a tendency to move the center of force on the contact patch towards the center of the car. Less offset might be desirable to some extent. Like a couple mm.

Stock we’re at +30mm front right? So a +35mm wheel with a 10mm spacer to get +25mm effective offset might be better, steering wise, than +15mm.

From first hand experience in more driving conditions than just there limited tests... The 215 was a great tire and has a great compound, but the newer 615 is a much harder compound tire and doesn't grip nearly as well as the 215 or the AD07 in the dry or wet. Also during REAL tracking the AD07 won't get greasy like the 215's which "go away" after a few hard laps.

edit: just read the article and it confirms everything I said above, the Falkens work well for cone dodging but at speed and on REAL tracks they don't match the AD07's and the KD's
