You will throw off you scrub radius, which will cause unusual tire wear and strange effects to the steering wheel.

i have 15mm H&R DRM spacers on the rear. One of the very first things i did despite ordering a set of 19s. I dont like the wheel tucked in look either. Looks even worse with lowered springs

i bought both 25mm and 15mm, but the 25mm made the wheels stick out of the guards, im guessing due to the offset on the Anniversary wheels being different to stock 18s

i havent noticed in difference in handling or power down, but still i wouldnt put spacers on the front wheels

Hey TiPiace,

I ordered H&R 15mm spacers for the rears, that will be going on Anniversary wheels as well.

Are your spacers H&R too? If so, did your spacers come with 10 lug holes? Also were the holes in the spacers larger than the diameter of your studs?

On my H&R spacers, thet have 10 holes that are all the same distance apart, which all measure out to fit the Z but the holes on the spacers are a larger diameter than the studs are. Seems like the holes should be closer to, if not the same exact size as the stud diameters???

H&R spacesr are double dirlled to reduce weight... It doesnt matter if they are larger diameter then the wheel studs, they are hubcentric to the hub.. if they were the same size as the hub bolts they would snap them off more likely...

as long as the spacer does not move up and down / side to side when placed against the hub, it fits perfectly...

both my spacers (15 and 25mm) are H&R and are DRM type

they have 5 holes and 5 bolts sticking out of them

they are definitely hub centric as they could only go on one way, otherwise the holes wouldnt line up with the bolts on the wheel hub

the nuts have curved bases, and the holes have a curved dish, so the nuts when screwed in, sit snug inside the spacer

jason please check ur pm/email

Oh I thought those types (with their own nuts) only came in 25mm and larger.

Thanks.

Well I feel a little better now.

I know that the spacer is technically centered and balanced out by the hubcentric aspect of the spacers but I was afraid that the slop created by the oversized dia holes, that it could be off enough to throw it out of balance a bit, but I guess not. What I mean is that when you tighten down the bolts and the wheels press up against the spacers, which in turn press up against the hub, that the spacers could be off a tad in relation to the studs, if that makes any sense.

Now where is my replacement stud?!?! LOL

I need to call Andy back about that.

yeap now they do

but once upon a time H&R made DRM type in 15mm

i believe they were originally purchased by Z350Lover, and have been passed around us Aussie members until it was my turn. I painted them matt black and wont ever sell them knowing how impossible they are to get, even though im fitting 19s soon

Its very hard to get parts out side of kits from manufacturer's...

We have a few options I am going over with andy...

Can you measure the total length of the stud for me? I may have a stud that will work... (will actually be a better stud then what comes with the H&R)

just something to keep in mind
I think the bearings usually last more than 200K miles, so that does not sound like a big trade off to me.

Strife350z

then tell that to every one who put more aggressive wheels on their 350Z / G35...

Everyone with Volk's etc etc etc...

If you get the correct type of Hub Centric wheel spacers it is the same as having a more aggressive offset wheel...

not disputing that... just trying to point out all side-effects to potential buyers

I understand...

If its a cookie cutter non-hubcentric spacer then I do not recomend it and you will most likely have those problems...

If it is a spacer like H&R where it is hubcentric and has the extended hub then its safe...

But, nothign is if Hub Rings are not used...

Hub Rings are very important and alot of people dont install them with their aftermarket wheels...
