Default HELP: Buying 285/35/19 tires

Well its time (thank god) for me to get new rear tires, my poor 10.5 inch rims in the rear are sick of have the little stretched 275/30 rims on them. I originally wanted the BFGoodrich KDW II's, the flame pattern in 285/35/19, they have the grip I want, the tread is sweet, but I think i have seen pics of them and the look fat on the sidewall. I want a tires in the same size, with great grip but has some more structure and sidewall definition to them, please post pictures and/or info on your 285/35's, I really want the best grip and nice lines....the 265 tires that come on the new 06 track model look pretty nice, I forgot to look at what brand they were, who makes those?? They looked really good, and those rear track rims remind me of the Murcielago wheels....I saw the Interlagos Fire 06 track at my dealer.....its siiiiiiiiiiiiiick. The trade in bug hit me hard, I think I am going to go test drive it this weekend.

Thanks for pics, are you at stock height?? I think 295 is a little big for me right now, maybe when I go single T, they look good, good enough to make me still want them, just wondering other tires out there in same size that have a little more definition with out sacrificing, or sacrificing little grip.

Prices would be good to, thanks in advance everyone.

Are toyos grip any good? Compared to the KDW, I believe this is RTRacing's car, http://www.fast-autos.net/featurecar...50z/index.html it was posted in another thread.....

Actually looking at the pics from the rear, they look to be KDW II's! If so, I am just going to stick with these tires, I didnt see real good quality pics of BFG's on a 10.5 rim nice and clean on this site, but I have this car on my background right now and they look good enough, and you cant go wrong with the grip.

I heard they are kind of loud?? True? Also, does anyone know the best place to buy them from (price, availibility) Sorry for the turn in topic, lol...Thanks!! I want them this week if possible, these Direzza's suuuuuuuuuuuck, unless you are a drifter, because they break loose easy, but the wrong size I ordered disgusts me and has bother me for months

The Toyos are great tires....they offer very good grip in the dry and decent in the wet as well. I have used them on many of my past cars...604rwhp Supra, GS400 crusier, MR2 Turbo and on my M3 right now....and I will be using them on the Z as well.

The older T1S werent the quietest, but they werent that loud either. The new T1R, replacement for the T1S, is noticably quieter. In fact, that was one of the improvement aspects they focused on.

If you need a source, let me know I have a few good places.

I just put some Axis Hiro's in 10.5 rear and Im using 285/30/19's. I think they look fantastic I bought them on ebay for a fantastic price. Dunlop SP Sport 8000's. Ill link you I think he has a set or 2 left.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

$215 for the pair. Can't beat that deal with a stick.

I wont do a 30 series EVER again. Not only the fact that its tiny, but its the wrong size, luckily I have a base, but I noticed my miles going up rather quickly I would attribute some to the smaller diameter tires...I would sell those and get some 35's, just my opinion.

I think I am going to stick with the BFG's, but thanks for the help.

I think they look great, and hell the ride quality is just as good if not better than the 255/45/17 Nitto's they replaced. Also a 30 profile on a 285 isnt as slim as a 30 profile on a 275. Next tire change im going 295/30 to fill out the rims even more
