Exclamation -----18x8.5 all around +38 offset-----

Would 18x8.5 all around +38 offset fit perfect for our Z? Do I need to use any spacer? I might up grade my brake system in the future, would +38 offset leave enough space for the brake upgrade, please give me advise!

I think that is around the same offset as the stock 03-05 Track wheels, might be a +35. The rear track wheels are 18x8.5 and I have rears on all four corners on mine, with the factory brembos. So should work just fine I would assume. If you want you could get some 15-20mm spacers to help make the wheels look more flush with the fenders.

I always think the spacer is kind of dangerous, please correct me if I am wrong. For me the performance is way more important than it looks, since I take my Z to the racetrack to beat the 911 and other import cars.

Thank you for your advise!

The spacers will be fine aslong as you get the right ones. My friend works for a BMW raceshop and their racecar has always run spacers and it does great.

All joking aside, eddie lee -

keep searching the forums, you'll find the common wheel sizes and offsets that people are using. The sizes and offsets you listed suck for the Z.

Its good for some track wheels tho. They will fit slicks nicely.

Won't fit w/ BBK and will tuck in too much.

Not the right offsets.

Plus, if you have to buy spacers for your NEW wheels, you did something wrong.

I can see buying spacers for wheels you already own (like from your last car, transferred to the Z, you're trying to save some cash) but I cannot see buying spacers for new wheels.

Unless the wheels are a REALLY good deal.

Hey guys, Give me some good idea on wheel size and the best offset, remember that I perfer 18" and all four wheels the same size, so I can do the rotation! And forget about the subject on the spacer, the racing season in CA is coming up in 2 months!

Thank You.

I personally love the CCW classics in an 18x9.5 and around a 30+ offset. I would think you would need a pretty high offset to be able to fit the 9.5s in the front. You could also go with the Nismo rear wheels all the way around and they are an 18x9.5. This would allow you to put some 275 Hoosiers on there for some serious traction.

The same wheels the Performance Nissan racecar use. In person they look hot! I am going to pick up a set of these for my track wheels. They use 17x9.5 front with 245s and 17x10.5 rear with 275s. Im not sure if I want to go with 17s or 18s, but I am almost possible that a 275 will fit on a 9.5 width.
