question about the 18x8.5 wheel with 225 45

oh and one more thing
i might get 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5
and looking to get 245/40 for the front and 275/35 for the rear
is it ok? i mean i see many people saying that the proper tire setup for 8.5 and 9.5 is 245/40 and 275/40
