Way to go guys, trash the guys new wheels....bet he feels great about now. So unnecessary.
Those wheels look awesome! I love the silver mesh look on Zs, have them myself in a different brand. You can correct the offsets if you want by going here:

These are high quality spacers which can move the wheels out closer to the body lines, if you want that.

Honesty don't hurt, lying does. It is too tucked in, for a 350Z with a staggered setup, you've got to take advantage of it. The most important thing is, his choice is all that matters. If you want an honest opinion, here is the place.

First off the wheels look FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Nice!
Next off what are you guys talking about, "correct offset?" As far as I know, and I know absolutely nothing, you can't order wheels with your own personal offsets so making a comment that they guy ordered wheels with the wrong offsets seems a bit daft. But hey, maybe you guys are much more hooked up than I.
The wheel spacer comments do however make perfect sense. I have that same exact problem now that I have lowered my car (which he has clearly done); our cars looks a bit like a midget in a too large top hat with the stock setup.
Also you guys keep talking about offsets as if they were the sole measure of where the wheel is going to be but that's not true. From my very limited knowledge I am of the understanding that you need to consider the width of the wheel in addition to its offset. Assuming that people know this when commenting on offsets is sloppy math at best and horribly misleading in any other regard.
I'm researching spacers now trying to find the best, safest method for moving my wheels outboard. This is something that I will not want to buy off eBay so try to avoid that at all costs.
Oh, and you'll most likely need to roll the back fenders and maybe the fronts as well though they seem pretty tight to begin with.
