yes ive searched....
Ive been trying to read and figure out what my brake problem is. Im getting the sproing sound and pedal feedback that a few others have gotten. From what ive read is it might be a bad wheel speed sensor. Even at a stop it makes a weird noise, not the sproing noise but like shaking sand in a glass. I was just wondering if someone has more info on this topic.
It definitely feels like its my abs is acting up. I dont have any lights on, so its not the actual abs system, its just getting bad inputs. maybe?
also, whats the warranty on something likes this? mine is a 03 with under 36k miles atm....
thanks for the help

The "sproing sound and pedal feedback" is normal only if it occurs when you first start driving after it's been off for a while (i.e. overnight, all day long). That is the normal self-test of the ABS system.
If it occurs at any other time, it's probably caused by the ABS computer, not the wheel sensors since the ABS computer is doing that self test. There may be a problem with it causing it to randomly do the self test. I would definitely take it back to the dealer before the warranty runs out.

I'm having the exact same problem. I can feel the abs motor kicking on to do a self check everytime I stop. I changed the rotors and front pads. Had Nissan check the wheel sensors and relays. And they checked the motor itself and they have no clue. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to hear from them with no answers. It seems like this is occurring more and more with people on here. I would sure like to know what it is and get it fixed before my warranty is up.
