Default Nismo Replicas: Kazera KZ-A vs. ASA JH8

I was browsing on Tire Rack's website and noticed a wheel that I had not seen before called the ASA JH8. It looks to be the same as the Kazera KZ-A, in the Nismo style. Does anyone have any experience with these wheels? I was mainly wondering if the rear wheels have the same concavity as the Nismo wheels, something the Kazera wheels seem to lack after viewing pictures of the KZ-A's on the 350Z.

Any info would be appreciated.

The Kazera KZ-A is made by ASA, which is licensed by BBS...

I'm guessing the ASA JH8 is about the same as the KZ-A... with the exceptions that the ASA is gloss (not matte) black and there is no yellow "Kazera" logo messing up the ASAs.

I was thinking about picking up the ASAs as well. Look good, no heavier than stock, and cheap. Also, wider (18x8.5 and 18x9.5). I don't have the cash to sink into Volks or something right now (unless I can pick up some 19" Infiniti Coupe Rays)... trying to save for a house.

I was also wondering about that goofy yellow Kazera logo on the black wheels... is that just a sticker or is that ON the wheel? Looks ugly either way... would have to come off.

Those Rotas look NICE as far as the concavity of the rears goes... I wish they offered them in black with a polished lip, I'd be all over them when it comes time to get some wheels.

They DO offer them black with polished lip. On the first post in that thread, look for "Royal Black Staggered". They got 4 people on that list, and with you that makes 5.

wow this is funny, cause I was about the post the same question about the ASA jh8. The price is good, and from what everyone tells me Tirerack only sells good products.

OH MY GOD!! Those royal sports bronze Rota P45R's are gorgeous on that link up there. Looks much better than the colors offered by Kazera and ASA. Not to mention that the Rotas come in a lot more good looking colors.

Ahh, so the "Royal" in front of the color denotes that it has a polished lip? Thanks for the heads up BhashaZ

I had the black Kazeras on my PPW Z. Unfortunately, the yellow "Kazera" is not a sticker, it is carved into the wheel. I thought it would really bother me, but I got use to it after a while.

Also, I saw the bronze Rotas in person this weekend on an '06 PPW. They looked really good. If I still had PPW, I'd get them, but I'm not sure how they'd look on LS.

Here's my Kazeras:
