Default Yet another tire size question

Anyone running 285 75 19's on a 9.5" rear rim? I am tryig to decide wheter to go with a 275 or 285 tire (BFG Gforce). I do not want to roll the fender lip. Anyone with this set up? Any rubbing problems?

285 75 19?!?! wow thats gonna be a huge sidewall!

i think you mean a 35 right?

it depends if you are gonna lower your car and what offset the rims are, but
you should stick with 275 if you do not wanna roll your fender, just to be safe.

Use one of the offset calculators above and compare the new wheels to your current ones. Then check the car with a tape to see if you will have any clearance problems.

285 will def fit on a 9.5" rim, but with the BFG running wider than Toyo/Falken's it will pudge some. We need to know your rear offset to be able to help you with this question.

My Bad! Definitely 35 series. I have Volk SF Winnings with a +24 offest - 9.5" wide on the rears. I would like to run a 285 75 19 in the back but am concerned about rubbing and I don't want to roll the fender.

Any suggestions? Should I stick with 275's?
