Default Help me decide..please!

I've been pondering this for the longest time. I have a chrome silver Z but I can't decide on what wheels to go with. I want simple and clean and had been thinking about the 18" nismos or the always nice yet played out volk GT-C's in gun metal. What do you guys think? CS z's are so hard to make a choice on. Nismo front bumper, nismo side skirts with gunmetal volks GT-C is my front runner so far. Opinions please! and what do you guys think of my front running choice? Pictures, ideas, opinions very welcome

I think silver wheels would look best on the CS personally. And you're right, there are a lot of GT-C's out there. Are there any other Volks you like? If you want lightweight and don't care about a big lip (which you probably do, since you are interested in the GT-C's), maybe look at the Progressiv TE. They look awesome on the Z. Also, since you are going with the 18's, I think the GT-N would look good, but I'm not sure it comes in silver. But it does come in gunmetal, which you said you like. Anyway, those are just some options to check out, not knowing what you're really into.

Where do you live? Here in Northern CA I have only seen one Z that I can specifically recall, that had aftermarket wheels. It was daytona blue.

I thought the chrome Nismo's were like all chrome wheels on a Z kinda cheesey. However I saw those Nismo 18" wheels on a chrome silver Z and it looked nice but all the damn Z's I see look nice, with very few excepetions.

I would say try for Nismo gunmetals if you can get your hands on a pair. I am still curious to see how they look on a Z. Only see individual pictures. I am happy with my "anniversary" rims.... well they were sorta specialty until the 06 models came out. Seeing that I am pretty much set for internal mods, only place left would be the wheels. I was thinking on removing my rims and going with the new Nismo gunmetal rims. Any suggestions regarding the two would be cool. The link below has my current "anniversary" rims heh.

I would say go with some silver wheels as well. I've got Volk CE28's in 18" on my G. My car isn't silver but the wheels are hot. Check it out! Oh and by the way, these are for sale.

Of all the Z colors the CS is the most difficult to get a good contrast with in my opinion. It also depends on whether you have a body kit or not.

I had a hell of a time deciding which rims to go with - in the end I went with Volk Challenges in Merc Silver, so the merc silver fits in with the trim (eg door handles) and the polished rim is the contrast- a classy look a la Porsche. I also like the polished / black rim combo but it's a bit more "racer" looking. IMO Gun metal looks Ok doesnt match in with any part of the car.

So I'd say go with Volks or RH's. Maya's look good too. Pm me if you'd like some pics of varous wheels on CS Z's and I'll email them to you.

Also a big thank you to Steve at Evolution for helping me out with my rims - this guy is the easiest to deal with and the most reliable - and his prices are better than anything out there.
