Exclamation Questions about VOLK. Please Help!!!!

hi
i want to put some volk rims on my db, i thouhgt about the GT S or
the SF Challange.by the way, size: 19x8,5 and ?19x10,5?
now my questions: first of all whihc would look better
second, what offset should i choose and would the 10,5 fit the rear without rubbering or must i do some modification to the rear fender .

by the way i was yesterday at our "local" rims shop( i think it really sucks) , but itīs the only one near my place.
so i asked the guy who worked there what rims to choose for z and he asked me if i want to put on one of those lexani.
than i told him about those volk rims. he even didnīt konw the brand . then he wantīs to tell me that those jdm rims all suck because they arenīt good fabricated. i thought to myself, what the f*#k are you talking about.

ok after this little story, me question out to you all: does anybody heard of cracked or broken volk rims ??????

ps: could anyone give me the price for those rims without tires????
i wrote a email to f1 motorsport but didnīt get a reply( i think itīs because theyīre sick of answering email, only to let the people know whats the price for... )

The number of complaints about volk rims seems to be VERY small. I have heard about people bending them, but I have hit some motherfocker potholes at 45+ and still never bent a rim. I want to see the potholes that these people have bent their rims on.

Try *CALLING* F1, they won't even give you the best price over email.

F1 also will suggest offsets for you...don't worry, they know plenty about 350z's. You could also give Status a try, they are also a good vendor.

I just ordered Volks from Chris at F1 Motorsports. Volks are GREAT rims! I went to a couple of "local" shops as well and not many places at all have heard of Volk for some reason. Some places talked them down just for the sake of "my stuf is better" talk. I will not buy from a place that bashes the competition because they do not carry "such and such" a product.

Do yourself a favor if you are considering Volk and call Chris @ F1. He knows his stuff.

I just picked up some 19 GT-V's in Diamond black this afternoon from STATUS AUTOMOTIVE! I got the exact color, specs and tires I wanted, for an awesome deal! I highly recommend contacting Rick! They had some ridiculous rides there, 3-4 porches, NSX, mini coop, and of course Z's! Highly recommend them, GREAT customer service, which is most important to me especially if I'm gonna drop a few grand!!!!!

I've hit some massive potholes as well. In fact I thought for sure the rim would be bent but no luckily damage.

NO

you should expect the price around $2000 for wheel only. I'll call Christ and let him know about the email issue you have with them. He will contact you shortly.

Hey i just put some 19" Volk GT-C's with a 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear set-up. I have a +27 offset on the front and a +24 on the rear. I haven't had any problems with the rears rubbing. i'm running a 245/35/19 on the front and 275/30/19 on the rear (note this will only work if you don't have TCS) I'm running Hankook tires which gives a nice quiet ride with no problems. The offsets i have will also work with Brembo's. Hope this helps.......You can check out www.e-wheelz.com, they have some pretty good package prices with free shipping/mounting/balancing.

About 3200-3500 depending on what tires you want - brand and sizes...

hi
wow thanks for all your replies

i still want to go for the volks, but i canīt get reply from shops in the u.s.
that offers volk rims????

it would be awesome if someone could put a set of volk sf into ebay so that
i could buy them via ebay and pay with pay pal.

because i think itīs al little bit too expensive to pay !3300! bugs for a set of rimms without tires.

so if anyone could do me this favor.

ps:iīm willing to pay a little extra money for them

WTF???? What shop is this?
If I ever visit Germany I'll roll on through and give a good foot to the forehead.

Joking aside, you should have told him, one of Germany's strongest wheels: "BBS" are forged in Japan. They use those wheels in the DTM and formula race cars.

I love how merchants knock on what they don't know about, or don't sell.

I TOTALLY AGREE! Status has AWSOME customer service and GREAT prices. They gave me the best deal by far on my VOLK GT-7's 19x9.5 19x 10.5 (by the way this size seems to be a very popular setup and looks damn good on the Z). The guys at Status will bend over backwards to make you satified. Give them a call!
