Default ’03 Z without a Rear Strut Brace?

I’m trying to sort things out about what was standard on the Z when it first came out.

Was the rear strut brace present on the base 2003 model? I think it was, but my interlocutor is skeptical about it.

A brace is worth 1 mod points in Time Trial and if it was standard in the original base model, it becomes free…

Help?!

That's what I thought too.

I'd need to find a copy of the 2003 Technical Manual to prove my point...

It's an integral part of the body.

Anybody who says otherwise doesn't have a clue.

Give him the 03 Nissan 350Z brochure with pics of the struct brace and tell him to call ANY Nissan dealer. If that doesn't convience him then you shouldn't do business with this guy anymore.

The whole thing was for scoring mod points in Time trial.

The rear strut brace is approved as being present for ever. No points for it on the 350Z.

The car ('05 Track) is still TTC** under NASA rule.

I'll be running TTB with real tires with minimum mod points. Plenty of mod points availlable to max out that class!
