thinking about using my stock 17's as drag wheels. what size drag radials should i get for the rears? 245/45/17?

 

275-40-17 BFG Drag Radials. They balloon out a tad but are really nice on the stock rims. My buddy runs them at the drags with 15psi in them. I run them on my Firebird in 255-50-16 form and they hook the same. They hook for 2.0 consistantly and a 1.9's every once in a while. Just warm them up for 8secs on a burnout before the launch.

We're running 13.4 quarters on stock 6spds with the set up.

Don't forget to air them back up to 32psi when starting for home.
