Default Wheels for CS

I've got a 2004 Touring in CS. I've pretty much decided on getting a set of Volk SF Challenges but am not sure whether to go w/ the Merc Silver, Chrome, or Gunmetal. I think they all look great. Any thoughts on what would look best on a CS??

Check the photos in the Chrome Silver gallery for ideas. There is little to be gained from following the crowd. Be original. Get what you like.

IMO anything but black and chrome. Thats just my taste tho. I have a CS too and I plan on getting the same, rather mercury, or gunmetal.

I also thing it depends on the rims, some look better in a certain color. But for those wheel the mercury > gunmetal

this is all my opinion tho, and you should be the one who makes the final decision since it is you who will be driving around with them =)

BTW i made a post like this before tooo... and people posted some pics of their CS with their rims... check it out... if i can find it ill post a link

my preferences are...

Black > Gun Metal > Silver.... I personally dont like chrome at all..

Black offers the most contrast for a very agressive look..

Gun Metal offers a bit of contrast, but still be sporty..

Silver flows well and is classy, but depending on the silver and the wheel it can just wash out since its too much silver

ps. It wouldn't be cool for two of us to have the sf challenge's in colorado would it? And if you do get them just dont get the gold because I have those ones... get maybe silver, anyways. peace.

I actually feel the opposite way....Black with polished lip offers the best contrasting look...

not an M..but a nice example...

SF challenges are common on the boards and if you go to a Z meet, but in everyday life, you don't see them that often. I imagine in Colorado you see them even less compared to So Cal! Get what you want, but try to imagine you car when you have all the mods you want. I went with Diamond black Volk GT-V's for a few reasons, they are less common (live in So Cal, we have alot of nice Z's and G's rollin), I wanted diamond black to match up with some CF pieces (hood), and I wanted rims that day, and they had the exact color and specs, so I went for it, and am very happy (Originally wanted GT-AV's but you would have to special order that in diamond black)! I don't like Merc silver with CS Zs, it doesn't stand out enough for me on CS, consider GM or Diamond black, or the black chrome that some of the racing hearts come with. My boy has the CP-F tune w/ CS Z and it looks AWESOME!!! I would have gotten those rims, but I didn't want to copy his car too much (I got the same chrome tint). Good luck with whatever you choose!

Thanks for all the feedback. to jdm33.....you're safe, there is zero chance of me running gold wheels of any type. I also will not be grabbing anything in black, just my personal preference but I don't like the look as much (although Rickdogg's setup is pretty nice).

I know a lot of people run the SF Challenge on their Z, by like UCLAzzz accurately points out, I'm in Colorado and I have yet to see a Challenge SF of any color on a Z. My real dilemna is that I like Merc Silver the best, but I'm not sure it will stand out enough on a CS? I may be leaning to GM instead.

Thanks for all the input. I decided to go with the Diamond Black SF Challenges for my CS Z (even though I originally thought I did not want black). Threw down a deposit with Chris of F1Motorsports this evening and am waiting to hear how long it might take to get them in.
