How to read a rim chart???
I'm shopping around for rims and I'm wondering if anyone can explain how to read this:
http://www.worksuperwheels.com/wheel...cation_19.html
I understand the rim sizes on the vertical column, but I'm having trouble with the horizontal column. I know its about rim depth but what do the numbers mean?
Sorry for the dumb question...

at the rim width, you need the offset in the table to get that rim depth.
for example 19x8.5 with a +19 will have a 75mm rim depth (lip).
It's basically a lookup table, you need two pieces of information to get the third (size, offset, rim depth).
also, Standard, Deep Rim and Big Caliper disk means how much clearance the rim will have in the back for brake calipers. If you have a bbk, you will need the big caliper disk to fit the bbk. Otherwise, you can get the Deep Rim offsets to maximize the rim depth
for example, 19x8.5+17 deep rim will give 87mm rim depth, and 19x8.5+19 will have 75 in the standard disk. so a difference in 2 mm in offset generated a 12mm difference in rim depth
