Default Why are these 19's so cheap?

They look amazing, and the seller has a good feedback rating, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. Why are they so damn cheap? Don't 19's usually cost twice as much?

They are cheap because the rim is probably made cheap. You get what you pay for...axis wheels are known to crack (using axis as an example because its a well known brand)...you probably want to look for forged rims even though it's a smaller size

this is an example of someone who shouldnt be giving advice. there was a run of axis hiro's that was faulty. yes a few of them cracked but the current run of hiro's do not crack. even if you were to buy an old batch of hiro's right now, they would have no problems replacing them for you. other axis wheels did not have this problem. forged rims are not smaller in size. you can get them larger then 19" if you wish. there are many cast wheels that hold up very well. getting forged wheels guarantees you nothing, ive seen plenty of forged wheels bent up . i cant almost guarantee you those rims are not forged like it says in the description. they are simplying stating that they are styled after forged wheels. these wheels are probably really heavy and the finish is more then likely not high quality. the offsets are terrible for a z so you would want to invest in some spacers if you purchased these. as for the how durable these wheels are, only time will tell.

Another reason why they are so cheap is because the seller is making you pay 225 for shipping...which would put them in about the same range as the RUff wheels and the such...weird cause i shipped s set of corvette wheels for 45 dollars from fl to ca via ups.

Sellers have gotten smart and are keeping the price down while increasing the shipping charges. Why? Less commission to ebay......

These sellers have definitely found the loophole in the ebay system. No fees for the shipping. New car $.01, shipping $10,000. Also notice that these wheels state usually 10 days shipping time, but allow up to 45 days. (Coming from taiwan more than likely.

On the offset. I saw the same wheels before I got my Hiro's. I would wait and try to buy some used wheels off one of the members on the site or go with Luff or Ruff Racing wheels.

I wasn't talking about Hiros...o well...just telling him forged is a another option and i would rather have a bent rim than a cracked rim anyday

Thumbs down

the ad claims the wheels are made by "MODULARWHEELS"

Just did a Google search and I can't find any legit wheel company by that name.
