Offset in the most basic definition, tells you how far your wheels stick out or tuck in. The higher the POSITIVE offset, the more the wheels will tuck and the less risk you will have of rubbing the fender. The downside to a high offset is that your car will look gay with wheels that tuck way inside the fender. A low offset will make the wheels stick out more and widen the car's stance. A low offset is much more visually appealing, and ultimately allow you to run a wider wheel/tire setup. The only risk is possibily rubbing your fenders if you go with a substantially wider rim/tire. I currently run an 18x10 volk in the rear with a +23mm offset and 295/35-18 tires. With my Nismo S-tune suspension (virtually no drop), I got very slight rubbing under hard acceleration (which I fixed by rolling the fenders)...so as long as your not running as low of an offset as I am..you should be fine.

For an agressive look, good with a +22 to +23mm offset for the rears and about a +25mm offset for the fronts.

You'll have no problems what so ever! My offset on my 19x9 front rim is +.26 w/ 245/35/19 tire and my rear rim 19x10.5 is +.22 w/ 275/35/19. The tire sizes your choose for your rim size will be fine. My rear tire is stretch on my 19x10.5 and 285 is a better fit but your front rim tire size 255 will probably be stretch if I was you, you should put a 265 on the front. My next tire set up will be 295 rear and 265 front. Just to give you so ideas and open your eyes. Good Luck!

With a 295 or bigger tire on that +22 offset rear you'd most definitely rub under hard acceleration...even with stock suspension....so keep that in mind.

You really think so? There's more than 2.5 inch gap from top of my tire when looking at it from the size. I find it hard to believe that under hard acceleration that the back end will come down almost 3inches. Another reason why I want bigger tire than a 275 is I had an accident last year where both my drivers front and rear rim got curb all the around the whole edge of both the rims. My insurance cover most of it after I had to pay the deductible to replace the rims, fix my rear link and my front hub was busted. To sum the story up on what actually happen an 18wheeler blown a tire in front of me and there was another 18wheeler to my right. I'm in the fast lane and it caught me off guard and scared the living s*** out of me. I avoided the tire at the time I didn't know it was a tire and it jump up at me. I swerve to dodge it and I went toward the median. I was also turning on a curb where traffic and I was doing like 70mph and me hitting the brakes, back end breaking loose where I quickly regain the Z and curb my rims. I thought I had the side of my car scraped up, but luckly for me it didn't end that bad of an eye sore.

To answer the other dude, you can try revhighonline.com and streetdreams.org

I just realized that you are N/A. I'm turbo and run a Drag Radial on the street, so my suspension REALLY compresses when I go WOT in first gear. Although in hard turning your suspension could easily travel 2.5 inches.
