Default Falken GR Beta FK-451 tires

any experiences? I've had Ziex before and was pretty satisfied.

Found them for 667 shipped from Ca to Ga, in 275/40-18 and 245/40-18

I had them on my Old RSX-S(w/ TE-37's),..They have a very aggresive Tead pattern and they hook up nice on the street--track i only ran like 2 times w/ em,...the only problem I noticed was they threw up rocks alot,..my stocks on my Z now do that too,..but I will probably get tem again when I get my New Wheels.

they are GR-BETA's right?
if so,..thats what I had!
Get Yoko Parada;s if not,..I've had 2 sets of those,..and owned Nitto NT450's,..but if you go Nitto's,..get 555's!

yeah,..I'd pick the Betas....better all round' driving tire then 555R's

really depends on what your doing w/ em,..and I'm guessin they are for your G35 right?w/ the TRack wheels?

I bet you don't plan on doing to much racing in the"G" so,..get the Betas,..they look Phatty from the back,..Tread is awesome--similar to toyo's
I had no prob's w/ em....

buy the ones your seelin listed for $667 thats awesome,..I payed $204 a tire for 225/45ZR17;s brand new---got owned by Discount Tire but they are worth it!

Where can I check out those tires you mention (the Beta's)? I've never heard of them...do they come in 285's and 265's??? I'd like to compare them to the Toyo's that are a bit more...around $850 for the combo mentioned.

Default Try these

For the same money, actually a couple of dollars cheaper, You can get the Yokohama AVS ES 100's. They have an amazing review on them and IMO are better than all the tires you have previously mentioned. I am getting them in a 245/40/18 and a 275/35/18 for about $630 shipped.... Tire Rack and Discount Tire both have them......

those 275/35s are only 25.5" as opposed to the stock 245/45 which are 26.7" The 275/40 are also exactly 26.7"

The 245/40 + 275/40 exact size match choices that I have found are
Nitto 555 @ 690 shipped from discount tire
Falken Beta @ 667 shipped from www.victoriatire.com
Kuhmo Ecsta MX @678 + shipping from tirerack
Eagle F1 GS D3 @ 790 + shipping from tirerack

then several choices in the 850-1100 price range, which I don't want to spend right now.

www.victoriatire.com is where I found the Falkens

Default I have the 17's....

so I never checked to see if the ES 100's came in a 275/40/18. Like I said, I am going with a 275/35/18 because I would rather have it a litlle shorter than taller.... You could go with that to if you want but that is your decision......

they dont make them in 275/40. I was gonna go 9"wide in front and 10" in back, plus get the new tires, but due to budget constraints, think I will just get 8"/9" combo, keep the stock tires for now and then upgrade to the above sizes.

So if you have to choose the above tires, which one would you choose? Rank them in 1-4 if you can. Thanks!

I guess, out of the 4, without considering price:

Goodyear
Falken, had the ZIEX, they were great
Kuhmo, had the Ecsta 712s, they rode a little harder than Pilot Sports they replaced
Nitto, total unknown to me

However, I think I am inclined to go wtih 18x8 and 18x9 instead of a 9/10 combo, use up the stock tires then get S-03s in the above sizes.

Well, I finally decided, I think. Anyway faxing in my order for Iforged RS Aero, 19x8 and 19x10 with the brushed finish. Will wrap them in 245/35 and 275/35 S-03s. Decided there is no cheap way of getting the look I really want. btw, the best price i've found online is at www.onlinetires.com These particular size S-03s are 860 vs. 934 from tire rack.
