Default Open Ended Lug Nuts? What are you using?

I am currently running Buddy Club P1 lug nuts. Opinions? Any other open ended one you guys prefer? I got them from a buddy but one of them the threads got chewed during the first removal. I'm about to remove them from my car for the first time and in case they do the same thing just curious what replacement to order aside from ordering more of what I have (which I like so far) Thanks...

I was using Buddy Club P1 as well and 2 got chewed up LOL.. Those things are incredibly lightweight but fragile

I'm currently rockin' a set of KICS Project R40 nuts.. elongated.. open ended (because I'm running with 60mm NISMO studs).. slightly shorter than the Buddy Clubs and I didn't weigh but they feel slightly heavier than the Buddy Club..

I like the design alot.. floating edge that meets the wheel (to prevent scratching).. strong hex head that is more resistant to getting chewed up and some sort of polished black anodized finish that look really great.. Would be a good match for your TN piping LOL...

Use McGard SplineDrives they dont ruin your wheels and they are not open-end..

Mike, could you point me to a source for the KICS Project R40 nuts? My new wheels most likely will need smaller nuts, and these sound good. I currently have Zenki Forged Racing Lug nuts, which are openended. They've held up well for over 20 wheel changes! Bought them here: http://www.sportcompactonly.com/ , but they arn't listed now.

Thanks Mike. A bit pricy. Are they durable enough for excessive #'s of wheel changes?

Has anyone tried Skunk2 nuts?

Those do look pretty nice. I also found some Trust ones that are nice too. Those KICS are quite pricey!!

There is a reason Porsche banned aluminum lug nugs in PCA Club Racing. They fail (eventually). I would stay away from anything like that...
