Not that I condone street racing, but in my experiences (which have all been on Xbox) BFG g-Force KDW-2's are amazing. Great traction AND handling.

For off-the-line traction try Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Unlike the staging pad the street is not prepared, but still you will get respectable traction.

lol well if u wanna listen from people pulling 2.0+ 60fts then run the BFG DR's... or you can get Nitto 555R Drag radials and use what the 03 cobras use to whoop up on the street as well as me and pull 1.8's all day at the track with a proven street tire...

If your street racing includes turns, go with the Falkens if you live in a dry climate. If you live in a wet, go with Michelin PS2's or BFG KDWs. If there are no turns, go with the new BFG Drag Radial!
I have driven on all of them except the Drag. My favorite is the Falken RT 615, except in the rain. And best of all they are about 1/2 cost of the others!
