Default Axis Reverb or Nismo LMGT4: Help me decide pls!

I have an '03 CS Track with various performance mods (plenum, pulley, Popcharger, Nismo suspension and exhaust), v1 lip, 35% tint and tail overlays and am looking for 18" 5 spoke rims. Wanting to keep the car performance oriented, so over the top, heavy, bling wheels are out. Going to go with 245/40-18 F, 275/40-18 R tires. Narrowed it down to Axis Reverb and Nismo LMGT4 (well, Volk LE37T would be my first choice, but I'm not made of money...); which would you choose for my car?

Pros/cons:

Nismo:
Pro:
-They're Nismo/Rays
-cool concaved spokes in rear
-very light
con:
-no lip
-not as wide (8.5" F, 9.5" R)
-more expensive

Axis:
pro:
-cheaper
-nice lip in rear
-wider rims available (9.5" F, 10.5" R)
-anthracite color look better than silver on my car?
con:
-cheaper made wheel
-a bit heavier

Which will give me the best look, performance and handling? Please help me decide!

Axis wheels are about $1,200/4. NISMO about $2,000/4. Its a apples and oranges comparison.

are you going to be tracking the car? If you are I would go with the Nismo's, if not go with what ever you think looks the best. I mean hell they are not going to make that much of a performance difference while you are just driving around on the streets. You can also fit wide tires on the LMGT4's, if you do a search you will see them. I mean honestly how wide of a tire do you need to go if your not FI?

Well, I've seen Nismos go new on Ebay for $1700, so that narrows the price gap a bit. Going 245 F and 275 R on tires; no wider. I know 275s are a bit stretched on 10.5" rims, but still look ok. I may track the car in the future, but no plans to currently. I like the quality/weight of the Nismo rims, but having a sweet lip in the rear would be nice too... Too bad I can't afford LE37Ts...

The just pic what you like best and go with that. I run the 245/275 set-up on my Nismo's during the winter and the fit great. I am going with 285/305 during the summer and they fit great also.

Just because I or someone else likes the nismo's is not a good reason to buy them though. You are obviously doing it more for the looks, so just pic what you think looks the best on your car. Both will perform well for your purposes.

+1 for Nismos. you'll have lots of people asking about them and saying how cool they are. F the lip..i dont like lips nayways...makes the wheel look anorexic to me. i love my LMGTs 18s but if i could do it again I would have gotten 4 of the rear 18x9.5 and put 255-265 on the front with 275-285 rear. the all around concave look is badazz!

Yeah, leaning toward the Nismos. Think I'll stick with the standard setup, though; I like the rear to look wider than the front and be concave to stand out more.

I'm currently running 15mm R and 10mm F spacers on my Track Rays to closely match the Nismo offsets and it looks good, but I want wider tires. My other option is move the rear Rays up front and widen the fronts to 9.5" or 10" and put them out back; I'd basically have Nismo size/offset wheels, then for alot less $$$, but I'll prob just save up for the LMGT4s.

also look at the mfg process.

nismo forged vs cast axis.

+10000 on forged! (for racing/pot hole roads)

+1 on cast for cost savings

forged is also lighter weight-!!!
