Dayam, pretty good necro bump. I'd join this party but most people wouldn't consider all 18, er, now 19 sets I've had on or near my 33s and 34 (some never got installed, laff...) to be "aftermarket". Matter of fact, only 7 or 8 were actually aftermarket. The rest are/were Nissan/Rays.

Am I saying this to brag?

Well, yeah..... Hahhahahahaha.... I'm proud of my family of Nissan wheels!! I mean 6 forged sets from the Z34 world alone!!

But, to keep to the spirit of the thread, here's a brief history of MicAftermarket wheels...

Where it all began - car as bought with Touring V1s (original were 7 spokes Enthusiast)

Volk GTC - 19x8.5 / 19x9.5 245/275

No clue what these are... "Stern" maybe? bought 'em cheap and on a whim. 18x9.5 and 18x11. Ran some 295s out back too. No rub.

These came with my Nismo when I bought it. New, never mounted.... 19x10 / 19x11 (I think.... maybe 9.5/10.5)

Volk SF Winning 19x9.5 / 19x10.5 255/285

Dai Yoshihara Specials 18x9.5 / 18x10 245/275

The best, most responsive set up I've run (next to my current S-Tunes)... RPF1 18x9.5 Square 245/275

Enkei/AME TM-02 19x9.5 +22 19x10.5 +22 255/285 (I note the offset because these were the best fitting wheels of all).

The great experiment. Tried out some "cheap reps". VordovenForme 6 - Double stagger 18x9.5 / 19x10.5

I had bought the tires for my Nismo on a deal from craigslist or on forum (a great set of Yoko AD08Rs) but I sold the Nismo before doing anything with them so had the tires to conduct my "grand experiement" of putting on some ultra-sticky, hard biting tires on a set of alleged "cheap wheels" to see if I could break them. I didn't. Laff....

These are also an offshoot of Enkei - Algernon Intelesse 19x8.5 / 19x9.5 I never ran these myself. I put tires on 'em then sold the ZR with them on.

There was a time when I had as many as 6 sets in my garages and storage unit. Built mahseff a tahr rack. Hahahaha.

Anyhow, have tires inbound for another set of Nissan Genuine wheels. But not my last remaining (and cherished) set of LMGT5s! I'll finally get around to powdering the '13-14 LMGT5s (don't care for the gun metal finish of the later Z34N wheels) then eventually put them on (or get another car that can use them. Y'know, the "Cinderella Syndrome" - where I have this set of tires/wheels and I'm looking for the car that can wear them. Hahahaha.) Strongly considering a modern Nissan (Infiniti) product but the ones I like can't use these wheels so I haven't bought the vehicle yet. Laff....

I'm out of room and had to build two sheds to house all my wheels. Think I might sell a set or three and buy a bitcoin. lol

Dibs!!

Will this infernal wheelwho*ing never stop?

But yeah, before I had the second garage, I had actually resorted to chaining up my less desirable sets onto the gas pipe on the side of my house. Only have old junk wheels out there now under lock n' key. And, in case anyone has any wise ideas about paying me a midnight visit, you're warned, there's a hidden automatic pilot light next to said gas pipe. Buhbye.
