Aren't the "wear bars" at 1/16". That's supposed to be the indicator that they need to be replaced.

Worn tires (any tires) will fool you in the rain. And the surprise will be sudden and dangerous. Be smart. Be safe. Get new tires.

how many do you get out of aftermarkets? would 20k be reasonable w/o too much aggressive driving and no burnouts? keep in mind my Z has shown absolutely no signs of the dreaded tire feathering. i also heard the goodyear eagles are fantastic and not quite as pricey as michelins and bfg's.
