Question Opinions Please: Possible New Wheel Setup

Thinking of getting the 20" Work Meister S1 2pc in Gunmetal (since I have yet to see pics of this anywhere) & I wanted to get everyone's feedback on this. My question is, does the step lip portion look too big on this setup or does it look fine to you? Also, if anyone can please PS these to Gunmetal on SS, that would be great.

Here is a pic of my car (btw...I currently have BBKs which is not pictured on these pics):

And here are the Works that I want but in Gunmetal (pics shown are actual 20" wheels):

that's a good looking wheel james.

i have considered geting these in black, but I promised myself i would not pour any more money than I have to into my car

the wheel is definitely a different look than what you have now. it screams subtle and sporty while your current set-up is more bling and showy.

Thanks guys for your feedback. Yeah, I'm trying to go for a more sportier look & away from the full polished wheels since it's a real pain to constantly keep clean. I even considered taking my wheel apart to have it coated but I fear it might effect the durability of the wheel. Plus, I want the center piece to snuggly hug around my BBK which it currently doesn't do. There is a big gap between the calipers & the back of the wheels which I don't like since I love the snug look.

Well, it looks like some people are not too thrilled with these wheels I'm looking at. Could someone please PS this on my car & change the color to Gunmetal? I'd be interested in seeing this in Black as well. Perhaps actually seeing how it would look like will help me make my decision. TIA...

Not much. My wheels cost a pretty penny as well so I should be able to sell them off at a decent price. I think the hardest part is finding someone local to me that is willing to buy it. I have one that maybe interested now but we've been playing tag since our schedules are always off.

I like WORK's alot, but not sure if it's worth the trouble. Both cars make my top 10 for this board though.

The Works would be a move in the right direction IMO. Personally I'm not a big fan of the blingin look on the Z, I much prefer an agressive performance look.

Thanks everyone for their feedbacks. I'm taking what everyone says into consideration.

Here's a preliminary PS of these wheels on my car that I had done in our PS forums. I'm still trying to get them to change the color to a dark gunmetal color so I will post those as soon as it is available. Thoughts?

I'm still waiting on the actual quotes but I would only assume the 19's will be in the upper 2K & the 20's in the 3K+ range since Work pricing as gone up.

Thanks! Yeah, I was thinking of going 19's but I think the 20's has the overall look I am looking for. It gives off a lowered look without having to actually slam the car which is good for me since this is my daily driver. Plus these types of Work wheels tend to appear smaller due to the step lip/center piece design. Their 20's have a center piece that are actually 19's, 19's with 18's, etc...

i hear ya, those spokes makes the rim look quite abit smaller. But to follow your wanting for a sportier wheel, 20s might seem a bit on the bling side (not that 19's are "true" sporty like 17-18s).

I since the spoke is going to look different for 19s and 20s i suggest looking at them in person before deciding if you have the chance.

Yeah, I know I might get some crap from some folks about how 20's are bling but to me, I'm just going for the looks in this case since it is going to be purely for my street wheels. Plus I'm trying to find one that best fits the clean & stealth look that I am going with on the car so I definitely won't be going with something too blingy. I've actually stopped by a few shops already to check out these wheels in person & the 19's definitely look smaller due to the design of the wheel. The only thing different with the 20's is that the step portion is going to be thicker which may not appeal to some. To me, however, it doesn't look too bad but I guess it's all on personal preference. I'm still doing my research so once I do pull the trigger, I'll have no doubts.

whichever way you choose, it's sure to look hot! and Rickdogg's meisters don't look tiny at all to me!

I still stand by my liking for the 3 piece version over the 2 piece...without the rivets on the s1's, it seem abit TOO plain/steath...
