I am planning to go with 235/40/18 and 255/40/18 SO3s. This will keep a .6" difference between the front and back, as well as closer gearings for better 1/4 mile times/acceleration . Little bit smaller, but would not look much of a difference in the wheel well, I believe. Anythoughts on this set up?

Do you know if these tires come with a rim-protector like the stock potenza's? I'm hopeing they don't.

And, whats this about different size tires affecting VDC. Haveing the brakes come on for no good reason could really ruin my day.

Well, I rushed the UPS guy when he got here, he had my Toyo's with him and my Street Scene grill, Mike Wade at Palm Beach Nissan was nice enough to stay late and put the tires on, they do have the rim protector. The ride was great, I was getting so used to that roar from the scalloped tires that now it is so quiet.

I just drove it home so not to many impressions, the only thing was that it takes a little more effort to steer at low speeds with all that additional rubber in front, but the drive felt great and I love the look it fills the fender in much better.

I'll post pics tomorrow.

Default 275 and 245

275/40 and 245/40 are the same diameter, 265 is slightly shorter and about a 1/2 inch narrower, maybe less. the 275 to 245 is about 1 inch differance in width.

Just for general info: I actualy went ahead and purchased my T1-S from Les Schwab. I had some spare wheels and tires sitting around (Enkei win's with 275/40 17 from my camaro days) that I couldnt sell and were willing to do a trade.

Yes, they raped me for the tires, but its sort of like trading in your old car for your new one. One stop shoping convience.
